I am at the moment struggling with Windows 10, after years happily on XP. I have to buy a new printer with wifi, that is compatible, as my HP is broken.
I can buy locally Epson .......XP235/ 322/ 332/ 335/. I cant make my mind up. Has anyone please got some bad news or good news on one of these.
These are 4 cartridge, which I prefer. Thank you

Well I agree that multi-cartridge printers are usually far cheaper to run than dual-cartridge ones but I'd have to ask why you're looking at Epson? It's Canon printers that repeatedly win the 'best buy' awards in the technical press and with the outstanding MG5650 (which is the updated version of the MG5350, that I've got and love) available for just 49 quid,...

Well I agree that multi-cartridge printers are usually far cheaper to run than dual-cartridge ones but I'd have to ask why you're looking at Epson? It's Canon printers that repeatedly win the 'best buy' awards in the technical press and with the outstanding MG5650 (which is the updated version of the MG5350, that I've got and love) available for just 49 quid, I'd look no further:

It's a 5-cartridge model, with a full set of 5 compatible cartridges costing just £11.99 (or even less if you buy in bulk) from this excellent source:

(I always get my ink from there and the quality and service have always been outstanding).
I'd second Buenchico's suggestion for a Canon all in one wireless printer scanner.

I've got an MG4250 which just works without any faffing around. It's connected by Wi Fi to my home network and I can print from my pc/laptop/phone/Android tablet. First time I've ever had a printer/scanner that just works faultlessly. I've slowly worked my way through Epson, HP, Kodak, lexmark and have now found my maker of choice.

Thank you both for your quick reply. Slack Alice, I really have my heart set on separate cartridges after much trouble with HP over the years.
Buenchico, I live in Spain, village in the mountains 45 mins. to the nearest town. Printer size in view of problems is important. Both for back to the shop or moving room to room.I havent seen mg5350 and it is 8.3 kg I was hoping for 5kg.(I am way past being an OAP by the way). I have seen mg5750, this is 6.3 kg, not so bad. I was turned off a bit by 'Expertreviews'
They made it their best buy (backing you up) but the guy grumbled about
restricted access to cartridges and a clumsy, chunky 4 way menu system.
perhaps yours is different or you think his moans too niggly.
The shop where I could buy this one is an hour and half drive away
I could probably order it from my nearest shop if I decide to go for it.
Thank you both

Hi Buenchico, sorry I am late about this but I have been battling with Windows 10 all day. It is now getting even more draconian. It has taken Speccy and Ccleaner away and Adblock Plus. There ar hundreds of complaints online at the moment, even to refusing someone's Epson printer. Luckily he was able to return it to the shop. If I bought one off of a lorry delivery I wouldnt be able to do this. I will have a look at the one you suggested if I can find it and see what they mean by these 'messy' controls.
Thank you, Almendros
