can anybody tell me how I can convert and download music from youtube into mp3 format so I can add to cd many tks

ChillDoubt's suggestion works for me, just make sure you specify where the file is being 'saved to' otherwise it may be difficult to find after downloading.

Jomifl is right. You have to keep an eye on it. You can download several files to a chosen folder, and for no apparent reason your next one will want to go somewhere else.
It’s a great service though – conversion is done serverside and takes a few seconds.

Question seems outdated, but there are many ways to convert youtube video into mp3 format. I suggest https://ifmp3.net . Either search for any song or paste youtube id in search box.
