Unable To Move Email

I received an email (From a friend) and am unable to move it to one of my email folders - have tried deleting it but that doesn't work either. I'm not good on computers but is there anything simple I can do to get the bally thing out of my inbox? - thank you

Oh.....sorry - have two which are sync'd - outlook and BT talk21. Have an HP laptop and was using IE but have recently started using firefox (this happened when I was using IE) Is this enough info? thank you
