Desperately need help.

I purchased a Gericom laptop from Aldi Stores last September.

I had a fault with it so sent it off on 25th July 2005 to be repaired. (even though it was still under guarantee I had to pay an `All risk Insurance` of �66.74) which I did and it has been cashed) to be repaired.

Last contact I made with the help line no. 08717111881 was on 23rd August 2005 whereas I was informed that they had received a main board needed to repair my computer but did not know when it would be ready but for me to wait for their call.

Service is very poor so I tried to ring them up yesterday all day and today. The help line number just keeps ringing and cutting off.

Please can anyone help me who has bought a laptop from Gericom and sent it away to be repaired and have waited a long time for it to be repaired.

Have heard that someone had gone to Aldi for help and managed to get their laptop back in the end.  I can not find a number for Aldi so do I have to go the store myself and see the manager?
