My usual search engine when I log onto the internet is Google. For some reason it has switched to Ask. How do I get back to Google please.

That's correct jno
Which browser are you using? It's usually easy to manage your home page and search engines. Has the Ask toolbar also been installed?

May I recommend Unchecky which will assist when it comes to installing software so that you don't end up with unwanted extra bits and pieces in future http://unchecky.com/
I'm on Firefox. I go to Tools (at the top of the page) then Options then General and it lets me name any page I like as a home page
You can reset your browser settings.
