It should be a case of simply plugging in the USB pen drive, open the folder you want to copy, select all items, right click and copy, open pen drive browser and right click paste.

Daffy..I have saved things before but this time there are no "folders",so to speak.I have on Chrome,"Other Bookmarks" in which I have websites that I visit frequently..I suppose I will have to put them all into a Folders...but how????
Why not use Windows backup?
It's under Control Panel/System and Security/Backup and Restore/ Set up Backup.

Must admit I wouldn't 'Save' to a usb pen drive, they tend to get lost or fail. I'd 'Save' to an External usb Hard Drive.

Well.yes,I suppose I could do that but the method will be the same ..no?

The reason I wish to do this "saving",is that I worry if my laptop ever goes on the blink ,,,but my grandaughter has broke the hinges on hers,so thought I might give her mine and I shall get myself a new one.
