Greetings one and all.

My problem relates to the burning of video files onto DVD (and i think think might affect Blu-Rays too).

When I play the video through the PC (be .avi, .mp4 or .mkv) the video and audio are in synch.

However when the burnt DVD is played the audio and video seem to go out of synch and the problem gets worse the longer the video is.

I have tried a number of editing / burning software packages (Ashampoo, DVDFab and Aiseesoftware) and one seems no better or worse than the other.

Any advice appreciated

Thanks for your time.

I gave up burning files to DVD - took too long to burn for one reason as I was having to convert to VOP files (I used Flick), then my DVD writer died. I've the PERFECT solution now, for a small outlay.
I started with a Cyclone Micro2 media player, burning .avi & .mp4 files (don't think media players like .mkv) direct to the device then plugging straight into the tv via the usb. That doesn't hold many files so I've moved on to a 2TB hard drive that connects to a WD player which is plugged into the tv all the time. Don't know how I managed without it !
Not sure that helps but I don't have synch probs.
