Download, run and scan with Malwarebytes. Make sure you only opt for the free edition :-

If it finds anything, tuen off system restore before you restart after removing them as some reload from system restore.

Do another scan and when it comes back as clean, then turn back on system restore
You have to use a different removal program to remove this pest infection . I use Spy Hunter 4 which is a paid program which will remove it completely . It costs $ 40.00 US as a yearly subscription but it is a very good program and if run regularly will keep these pests at bay.
I hold the view that one Does Not pay for anything if you can achieve the same result for nothing.

If Malwarebytes did not identify the unwanted search Engine as something which needed to be removed, I would do the following:-

Click Start -> Control Panel -> Programs (or Add/Remove Programs) -> Uninstall a Program.
Look for Aartemis, and other unknown entries which have the same date and select 'Uninstall/Change' to remove the items.

Then check for any 'add-ons' in ones Browser which also need removing.

Hi guys,
I've run malewarebytes, spybot, spyware terminator, ccleaner and none of them work.I search for aartemis and koyoter (the company who run aartemis) and there is no sign of them anywhere on my computer. They don't show in add/remove progs and there is no sign of them in the registry.Any more thoughts welcomed
I had a bit of this... an unwanted meta crawler whatever that is.

I did what Alex Higham said, and it was very helfpul thanks Alex
but didnt get rid,

so in the end I went into preferences on the Start up option of the webpage which is Chrome
and jiggled that around a bit
resetting the basic page back to goggle

and it worked ! and I got rid of pop-up disease as well

so thanks boys...
As I underestand it a metacrawler is one that sends the search request to multiple search engines and then sorts the combined result for you, for hopefully a better response.
