Evening all.
Can anyone help? Whilst using my PC yesterday it crashed. Frustrated I switched it off at the wall. Now when I try and load it I get the message that Windows isn't loading properly and I can select 'Safe Mode', 'Last successful configuration' etc... No matter what I choose it won't load up and just keeps re-booting. I have been told to re-install the Windows XP software- have popped it into the CD drive, but PC doesn't seem to be recognising it, just keeps going through the cycle again.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

Make sure your Bios is set to boot from your CD Drive first.
Like SlackAlice said, most likely cause.
Boot from the cd.

You don't have to do a fresh instal, instead do a repair install - that keeps all your files and programmes etc.
