Virtual memory

Just received this window message `Virtual Memory too low.` (or words to that affect) Please advise what I should do to rectify this, TIA.

A much simpler answer would be to install more real memory (assuming that you have less than the max supported by your operating system). If you got enough real memory, virtual memory becomes unimportant, and real memory is dead cheap.

It sounds flippant, but try rebooting. If that doesn't work (or you know it keeps happening) read this: http://lifehacker.com...-shouldnt-disable-it.

It sounds like your pagefile has been disabled OR you've opened too many windows and applications. Windows starts doing odd things when you push it too hard and normally a reboot will force it to pull itself together.
