I have occasionally changed the appearance of my desktop by right clicking it and going to Display properties > Themes. There used to be about 20 - 30 designs to choose from. Now I find something like 200 including all the pictures in my personal collection, some clips from MS Clip Organiser and many I've never seen before. I tracked them back to My Computer > C > Windows (I have Windows XP). Not exactly a problem but I’m curious to know why this has happened and is there a way to control so many options, many of which are unfamiliar ‘rubbish’ that I would never use as a desktop display. Would it be OK to delete some of them directly from the C>Windows folder? Comments welcome.

If you don't like the picture then delete it where it is located either it is in the c drive or somewhere else, no problems will be happened.
May because Someone can change your setting in display properties.
Or select all the themes in your display.
So you Can Change the Setting By Going In To properties Or You can Also delete it.
