My friend who is disabled recently got a new iPad, as her lap top was getting too heavy to sit in her lap. She has complained that many web sites need Adobe Flash to work properly but her Safari browser blocks any sites where she could download it free. Apple want $5.99 per month for the honour of getting this essential addition.
I am asking on my friend's behalf if she is missing some obvious solution to her problem. I haven't heard anyone else with an iPad mention this problem. Any advice greatly received.
