Good morning All,
I need to download some photographs from my computer to an internet website. To do this I am prompted to select file name. All of my pictures are in various folders, and the names are not acceptable to the website for download.
How do I create a file, to achieve this. I have never had trouble transferring pictures before, so any help at all will be more than welcome. Thank you.
Michael.

PS I hasten to add that they are photos of a property!

Is it that there is a limit to the size of pictures that the website will accept? That info should be given somewhere on the website.

If so then there are lots of programs that can resize pics for you; Paint is one, and you should find that Paint is already installed on a Windows machine (because it is a Microsoft product).

p.s. transferring a file FROM your pc to a website is called uploading, downloading is when it comes from the internet to your pc.

bibblebub, thank you for your response. The size of the pictures is immaterial since I can't even get them to download to the website at all.
Are you uploading them in the correct format for the website. Eg if it only accepts .jpg, you are not trying to upload .bmp?
"the names are not acceptable "
How do you know that it's the names that are not acceptable?
And, if you are correct, why not just rename them?

Thanks to you all again.
