To be able to purchase new laptop batteries from eBay what sort of information would i have to give (such as laptop name), there are quite a few No's on the bottom of the laptop not sure which one to use.

The make and exact model number of laptop; and cross-reference it with the number on your current battery. Be sure to buy from a reputable supplier as you can get inferior quality if you just go for "cheapest".
