Last Wednesday evening I logged on to the BBC website to find out what was going on in the football and I hooked up to radio 5 live and listened to the commentary for a bit. The problem now is that this laptop is permanently connected to radio 5 live regardless of which website I visit. As soon as I log on, after a few seconds radio 5 live starts up. If I want to listen to anything else, radio 5 is always there in the background. I cannot figure out how to stop it.
So, does anyone know? How do I get rid of radio 5 ?? All suggestions greatly appreciated.

Can't you go to the link, and delete it - or just log out from that site?
I'm no expert but I'd have a look in internet options see if it's in there and can be deleted?

You need to close the window that you connected through. It seems that you may just have turned the radio off. I got this a few times till I figured it out.

Thanks to everyone who replied. I think I've solved the problem (?) by turning off the modem/router at the mains (with the laptop still switched on) , waiting 30m secs then turning turning the power to the modem/router back on.
Radio 5 is ok sometimes but did not want it as a permanent background noise.
