If you run a PC and a laptop off the same router, do they have the same IP address or are they individual to each computer?

They will have different internal IP addresses, but will appear to the outside world as as the IP address of the router.

So if I have got an e mail virus and my e mail addy has been blocked on someone elses PC, if I use the same account (and e mail address), but on my laptop, will that get through as their PC is blocking my PC's IP, not the laptop's? (if you see what I mean!!)
Your question makes no sense. (and you've obviously not understood what MR said either)

you've said yourself.... your email address is blocked, not your IP address, so it doesn't matter what computer you send the email from, if it's on the same email account it will be blocked.

It's a bit hard to elaborate further as you've given no details of what sort of email account you have, but forget about your computers or your routers IP address, they are almost certainly nothing to do with your problem here (unless you happen to run your own private email server at home).

Hmm, I think what I'm asking chuck is if your e mail is blocked at someone elses PC, does it block the e mail address or the IP address or both.
The email address.

But if it's blocked their end just ask them to unblock it.
