When I switch on my computer I get a message titled ACDaemon.exe-corrupt file. The text states: The file or directory C:/Documents and Settings/HP_ Administrator/Local Settings/ History/ History. IE5/desktop.ini is corrupt and unreadable. Please run the Chkdsk utility. OK or Cancel. When I indicate OK the message disappears and the computer opens as normal. Apart from its being a nuisance is there any reason to be concerned? Thanks

That one file in itself is nothing to worry about.

But, one file going corrupt may be an indication of other problems starting. Have you actually done what it suggests and run a check disk?
