Electric Bikes..recommendations please

Any recommendations or comments about Electric Bikes, please? My hubby is 17 stone and fancies buying one of these but we have friends who bought theirs last year from somewhere in Derbyshire and had multiple problems with both bikes.

We've seen some advertised in the press but want to see and feel what they're like rather than just buying 'blind'

My advice, don't bother, a whole world of pain, just get a scooter......or an R1!
