Liverpool awarded a penalty. Disgusting decision - no contact by the Birmingham player and a definite dive by the 'pool striker. Another referee easily conned.

Ok it was a dive. The sport needs to sort this out but it won't. The ref does not have the benefit of replays from 6 different angles, he has to make an instant decision. The other problem is even with a replay if he blows his whistle and it turms out it's a dive, play has stopped incorrectly. Could probably give the defence a free kick I suppose and book the guy for ungentlemanly. Still they need to get this house in order.

steve is correct, if it turns out after the event iut was a dive, deduct the goal and adjust the points, then subtract 3 more points for the cheating little fa66ots. The managers would sort it by Saturday. Even dumb animals learn eventually.
