Watching the England /Ukraine game on tv....can anyone tell me why the England team are all wearing black armbands? They may have said at the beginning but I missed the start of the game.

Its was the mark of respect to the death of a form England team doctor as Judge said.

the minute silence was for the nineteen fans killed in Abijan as Vulcan42 said.
