What would happen if during a frame a playing accidentally dug into the cloth and caused a 'divet' ?

Table recloth - balls replaced using the recording replay ?

I think I saw this happen once. It was a small tear which was quickly repaired and the match carried on.

With a big tear I believe the balls are 'noted' and the match carries on with the ok of both players. I think.

I don't know the ins and outs but Shaun Murphy could give you a couple of hours on the subject I'm sure. 🙂

I like SM now
