I didn't have high hopes for her anyway. She'll never be another Billie Jean King!!
MBE ??

Can’t see it getting any better for the Brits, Murray getting ready to play Isner.
Hope Murray wins but it’s a tall order.
Emma Radu-can'tdo will never win anything of note again - ever.
Brit Cameron Norrie just won after 5 sets
Maybe all that Tiffany jewellery was weighing her down.
I did think those earrings were just a tad of a step too far.
Watched the Raducanu v Garcia match and was quite impressed with the solid display by the Frenchwoman. Did have to mute the sound though because both female commentators were getting on my wick with their OTT Partisanship - Raducana was 'Emma, while Garcia was, er, 'Garcia'.
Just seen the opening of the BBC News and even on there they're at it; "Emmad Raducana is outgunned by Garcia" read the newsreader.

Shows a lack of respect imho.
Is this scotching the myth that Brits love a loser or confirming a truth that we love to turn on people who disappoint us?
"Raducana was 'Emma, while Garcia was, er, 'Garcia'. "

Some mistake, surely. Garcia was constantly referred to as "Caroline" in my hearing anyway, was graciously applauded by the commentators for his tennis and affectionately interviewed afterwards.
er, "her" tennis
Perhaps she should change her trainer

Or are we just realists telling it like it is?
I think Emma is a great model for teenage girls, I’d rather girls aspired to look like her than the kardassians
I don't think there are any trainers left she hasn't tried :)
Ich, i had the sound on for about 10 minutes in the first set and in that time, i only heard the word 'Caroline' mentioned once. It was also suggested that 'Emma' was struggling with the windy conditions? Was the wind only blowing in whatever half of the court she happened to be playing in?
ken it was only that I happened to note it: and thought, well, that's nice.
I also noticed (as I am not v observant normally -- or am forgetful) that the umpires use the players' full names except when calling the score, of course "Miss, Ms and Mrs (and professor)" having long been discarded.
I have now got BBC2 on and, in the last few minutes alone, i've heard 'Isner' 4 or 5 times and 'Andy Murray' half a dozen times. Andrew Castle being the main culprit.
Just used the 'mute' button again :-))

Apparently Murray has never lost Isner?
If he’s to maintain that record it’s got to be the hard way having just gone 0-2 in sets.
I get irritated by the banal comments of the commentators.
