I am watching this game on TV from Cardiff with a few breaks from time to time. Correct me if I’m wrong but I could have sworn that Sam Billings was keeping at the start of the game but now it’s Jonny Bairstow.

looks from the reports as if he almost did, as Buttler was injured, but they decided at the last minute Bairstow would instead.

I wasn't watching - it's pretty close to slaughter - so I don't know, maybe he did have the gloves on for an over or two.

Small targets are sometimes more trickier to achieve.

It happens a lot at cricket matches. If a player is injured he is replaced and the commentators do not always mention it.
