Can someone show me how to solve this question? Its a practice sheet for our exam and I’m not sure if I did it right hoping for an answer validation.

A backyard gardener had seeds from a variety of peas that were hybrids (heterozygous) for red flower colour. In peas, red flower colour (R) is dominant to white flower colour (r). If these plants were allowed to self-pollinate and produced 1284 seeds, use a Punnett square to predict the genotypic and phenotypic rations for the F1 and F2 generations

This video shows you exactly how to do it:

you may be wondering about the F2

My own feeling is that you do a four by four matrix
and then add the RR squares together and the Rr - and sum the rr

otherwise you do the 2 x 2 matrix but have to do the sums 'off mtrix'

the whole poiint is to show a heardy weinberg equilibrium isnt it
The red flower colour is dominant to the white flower colour.

This is because there are not many alleles that code for the white flower colour.

This means that people with a certain allele will always have one of these two colours, red or white.
