I played three sorts in Scotland, rugby, rugger and a version thereof that at times I had no clue what I was playing - particularly when up against Perth or Stirling Uni - though we went away winners. Too much Youngers or Belhaven perhaps?

it's what you said but it seems it's been conveniently removed for you.
Question Author
why won't you answer the very reasonable questions regarding "independence" ?
If it helps, Anne said 'Rugger'.
‘ the reasonable questions from you ‘?I answered that point. You said you played RUGGER in Scotland . !!! In Scotland we play rugby .
I was repeating ttt mamma .
Question Author
yes she said rugger meaning rugby, why is playing rugby in Scotland something to deride?
No-one is obliged to answer any question asked of them.

Isn’t it about time this nonsense is removed too ?
I agree sunk .
Or to butt in when it is none of their business.
Is this private?
On an open forum a squabble about whether the word Rugger is used in Scotland is everyone's business - it is a quiet afternoon.

anne, 15:41 you started it sweetheart. Why is the game of rugby in Scotland something to deride? I thought you were a Scot, I just don't understand what you were having a go at. I played in several countries why do you have such a low opinion of the game in your own country?
Anne answered it at 15.36.
Question Author
oh so the term "RUGGER" - I see, we all have different terms for the same thing, we have jabs you have jags why is that a cause for derision? Now have a go at my "independence" question or have you not got any answers like the rest of the SNP?
As far as I knew it's only called rugger by public school types irrelevant of nationality. It attracts derision these days for some odd reason.
Question Author
