Well done Tom Marquand on winning.I didn’t have a bet but shows owners and trainers that if the horse is good enough the jockey is usually as well.Remember this Mr Neilson it isn’t all about Dettori irritating little so and so.

Who is Mr Neilson, grumpy.
As far as Frankie is concerned, he may be irritating to some, but to many of us regular punters, he is one of the best pilots ever to have sat on a horse's back.
Tom Marquand is only a kid. He has plenty of time to become an irritating little so and so :-) Think William Buick.

Right. Not been watching on ITV. Marquand came in for a very good spare ride, there, due to regular jock testing positive for Covid 19. Could be the first of many St Legers for the young chap.

No, I know you're not. I recall about a million years ago when he was apprentice to Luca Cumani and he was being interviewed by Derek Thompson. Frankie was all, "Yes sir, and No sir." back then. Nowadays i think DT bows and scrapes before him :-)
