Irrespective of who the opposition is, you can hear a pin drop in Twickenham when there's a penalty kick or conversion.

Why doesn't Murrayfield have the same respect for the opposition?

Blimey, somebody else besides me is watching it!!

Does that happen anywhere else except Murrayfield DD?
because they are scots?
Scrappy game in difficult circumstances.
England need to remove a digit or five.

Ladybirder - I’m a season ticket holder at Saracens and it does happen there. Been to The Stoop countless times and it doesn’t happen there, it wasn’t happening at the Ireland/Wales game...I don’t recall it really happening anywhere else either. Even the Scottish commentator commented that it’s sad that it happens at Murrayfield.
Phew!
Seems like PP's correct.

I meant to say it does NOT happen at Saracens.
In conditions like that, “not respecting the kicker” is irrelevant.
Well done England. The better team won.
You can’t really compare that with games against Saracens.
And I’m not sure Saracens just now are in any position to take any sort of moral high ground
it's not saracens it's their fans do not blame their fans
Sorry but the whole Saracens thing is a disgrace
It isn’t only Saracens fans who respect the kicker
yes from what I know about it , it is a disgrace and I won't be surprised if wasps get into more trouble over financial happenings but it is normally the fans which have to suffer be it Rugby Football Or Association
DD @ 18.37 - I thought that was what you meant to say.
I meant to say 'she' in my post before this, not 'he':-(

It speaks volumes to me that Saracens chose to be relegated rather than open their books - something stinks, and as a lifelong fan I find it very sad...but that’s not the fault of the fans Ich.
a sad development, I have been to Murrayfield several times, the last time in 2008 and you could hear a pin drop when either kicker was working. At twickers I've been known to admonish anyone near me for not keeping schtum.
Respect the kicker while casting aspersions on a nation. Right you are.
i know i thought that was quite wrong of them...
the banned football fans have got to go somewhere.
Absolutely disgusting behaviour.
Those who know whodunnit it should have a not-so-quiet word with them.

Rugby has a reputation of fairness and dignity and to see it tarnished is disgusting.
yes, they should show respect but waiting for Farrell to take a kick is like waiting for ebdon to pot a ball ...
