10C, by your own admission, you watched a few minutes of women's football quite some time ago and decided that it was rubbish. This WC competition has been anything but. There has been nous, technique, effort, passion, great defending and some superb goals. Of course there has also been some naivety, poor passing, apathy, schoolyard defending and lucky...

Forgot to say.... well done England! And good luck.....x
Yes, they played really well for the most part but, to be brutally honest, wasn't the semi-finals the least we expected. A fairly easy group to win and though Norway are usually a very well organised side, particularly in defence, they are quite predictable. For the sake of the competition as a whole, i would like to meet hosts France in the semi, although beating the USA to reach the final would be quite good:-)
Lots of respect for Neville, a man who has won pretty much all there is to be won. Wonder how many of his ilk would have taken on the job of Head Coach of the Lionesses?
Women shouldn’t be allowed to play football, it’s a mans game. Before you know it they’ll be doing boxing next.
Why haven't they got a female manager ?
Why was the lead commentator a male and not a female ?
Nah. As far as womens' football goes, I suppose the result's ok but I can't think why I would want to watch it.
Tuned in for the second half, when England started off brightly then maybe made a meal of the last half-hour or so. Or perhaps Norway just felt "***, we've got nothing to lose now" and started playing much better. Either way, great result, and that last goal by Bronze was a stunner.

Bit like the Prem, really! I think you need to get used to the idea that women's football is here and, as long as it continues to improve, it's here to stay.
Why do they not have a female manager? Surely the best person for the job should be given the job. Irrespective of gender. And their longest serving manager was a female - Hope Powell - who was at the helm for 15 years.
Good game. Played well. A trio of occasions when a ball was hit back though, and no one went for it, putting everyone in deep do do for a while. That won't go unpunished against some teams. Still, looking good for the coming rounds.
A stunning goal indeed, Jim.....promise me one thing. When you grow old you won’t, as so many men on AB seem to, become sour and bitter. X
I promise I won't be any more sour and bitter than I already am. :P
great game and no diva's, unlike the men's game
