what happens to the result?

(sorry for being dense - I've a few more football questions which may follow in days to come)

Surely the result should be null and void if it is rescinded as the outcome could have been different?

I'm referring to league matches and not trophy matches. Thank you

No, the result would stand
It just means that the player wouldn't get suspended for three matches, alba.

Thanks for the extra info Mr AV :D
Thanks FF.

the result stands it's not practical, sensible or feasible to void every game when a decision is changed after.
As Mr. AV as said its the player that will be eligible for the next game etc... it would be the club that'd be responsible for other reasons and deducted points.

thanks 3T and Arky.

Now, points, I've a question about point, if I ask on a new post, hope it's not construed as spamming.

I'm trying my best to understand and like football.
It's not an easy thing to do, even for the fans :D
