I have no problem with the shoot. I don't shoot but I do eat game birds, most of them probably have a better life and death than most farmed chickens, ducks and turkeys.

I've no objection to folk killing wild animals for food. That's nature, life feeds on life. I'm less ok with human beings enjoying killing wild animals for the "fun" of it.
