what is the point of BBC televising this afternoon matches. is they are recorded
Eurosport are showing the matches live. So why cannot BBC. They have done this so many time
I think is you have the opportunity to show live sport you should do and not show recordings

I think the BBC picks the 'best' bits from earlier. If there are a couple of unknowns on live they'd prefer to show other bits.

They often do similar with tennis.

If you can use the BBC sport app you can watch live and choose which table.

Radio Times lists the afternoon broadcasts on BBC2 as "LIVE Snooker", with "further coverage on the red button".
