I can't quite believe it.

My pals and I used to stand at Withdean Athletics Track, in the rain, clutching soggy hot dogs, and shouting for the Seagulls. That was when we were in League One. And we almost got relegated to League Two.

And now ...

We are in The Prem !!

We stood on the pitch at The Amex, sobbing pathetically, and singing (equally pathetically). And then ... we got completely trolleyed.

I'm feeling very fragile this morning.

But, to everyone who supports a team in The Prem ... look out next season ... WE ARE COMING FOR YOU !!

:-)

Well done JJ.

Don't worry about the Prem, it's a walk in the park.

What can possibly go wrong?
Welcome to the big boys league, will you use the parachute money wisely?
At least you wont have to travel to sunderland

We might not even have to travel to Newcastle, the way they are playing.
brighton future premiership champions? that's nearly as daft as saying my leicester city could win it ...

I remember you saying on Sports-AB (A few years ago) about those days in the rain cheering them on... Well done them and all concerned.
Hi JJ !
When you visit Anfield next Season, spend the weekend in Liverpool, and have a great time with your mates. It's a fabulous City !
Redman says that unfortunately there are no Cable Cars here, just a Ferris Wheel !!!!
Well done the Seagulls & all their loyal fans! :-)

"Whoever you support, you've got that blood in your veins"
Phil Neal
They did well, JJ, and you and your mates should be commended for your unwavering, unstinting support. Enjoy next season.

There were a lot of wet afternoons at Withdean, Ark ... it always seemed to be raining.

We will definitely make a weekend of places like Anfield.

LiK, the person who really has Brighton blood in his veins is our Chairman ... everyone says that if you cut Tony Bloom open, he'd have blue and white stripes inside. He's put loads of his own money into the club, he secured the funding for The Amex, he's stood by the team and the Manager through good and bad days, he didn't let anyone buy our best players last season ... and he was there yesterday, singing along with us at the end of the game ... all clubs should have a solid Chairman like him.
Congratulations.
Tony Bloom was on 'talksport' this morning being congratulated he seems a proper decent fella who knows what he's talking about.
Congratulations Brighton, very well done. Good on you JJ for supporting them through thick and thin. Enjoy your time in the sun:-)

On the pitch yesterday, we all gave him a rousing chant of

"One Tony Bloom, There's only one Tony Bloom"!!
That's a nice story about one of yr players whose dad died, 10 teammates went to the funeral inc the manager.
By the way. The funeral was in France.

Brighton are a club where everyone gets a big hug!!

It was Anthony Knockaert ... the Championship Player of the Season. He's just signed a new contract, or he's about to. He's staying with us, anyway.

He also has one of the cheesiest song-chants of all of our players. It goes:

"We've got Knockaert,
Anthony Knockaert,
We just don't think you understand,
He only cost two mill,
He's better than Ozil,
We've got Anthony Knockaert"

I know ... terrible, isn't it.
Question Author
Whoever came up with the Anthony Knockaert song will be extra pleased that we are going up, because ...

The line "He's better than Ozil" will finally make sense (when we play Arsenal)

Obviously it could backfire if it turns out that he's not better than Ozil. Then we'd have to change the song to ...

" ... He only cost two mill,
He's almost as good, and definitely more committed, than Ozil"

:-)
How long until you get sold to the Chinese?
Don't forget to join the Fantasy Football next year Jogger, and join us in the AB mini league. Well done, but wait till you get up the "Brit" before telling us you "are coming to get us". We once made Gomez cry when he was playing for Tottingham. :))
