The fixtures came out for the new season today, wooo!

Brighton had a season ticket holders breakfast at the stadium, at which the fixture list was announced.

What does your list look like? Our first game is at home to Notts Forest.

I quite fancy Cardiff away. That could be a jolly trip.

Boro are away to Preston, and the (Once) mighty Yeovil Town have a nice away trip to Exeter - got all the sights of the south-west (Brizzle Rovers, Plymouth Argyle)
Ruddy 'ell! JJ might be in town on 29th August!

Villa are away to Bournemouth, will be interesting to see how many tickets Bournemouth make available for away fans this coming season. Their ground capacity is only 11,700.

I do fancy another trip to Middlesbrough.

Last game of the season again.

We give the away section about 3,000 seats, I think.
That's about 10 % then isn't it jj.
The Baggies have an easy home fixture with some team called Man City.
snigger.
Well, jj, we pick up our guaranteed 6 points, firstly at Turf Moor on Sat 21 Nov, then down your neck of the woods - is it still the Goldstone Ground? - on Sat 2 April:-)
Write off Bournemouth at your peril though.
Local team Bournemouth are at home in first game to some team called Aston Villa. They sounds like they must be the down-market relatives of Crystal Palace.
Question Author
You know jolly well that it's not the Goldstone Ground, Ken.

:o/
I haven't, Hopkirk.
Villa have their guaranteed 3 points seventh match of the season !.
Question Author
It's a little bit more than 10%, yes.
Oh, and Tony, enjoy this while you can because it's all downhill from there.

I had the worst pie ever at the Goldstone ground boxing day 1983.
Blimey I see the Baggies are second from bottom already, Hopkirk ;-)
>>>is it still the Goldstone Ground?

Was that written tongue-in-cheek, Ken, or have you simply failed to notice that B&HFC haven't played there since 1997?

They now play at the American Express Community Stadium. It's called that because every time an opponent puts the ball past Brighton's keeper they say "That'll do nicely, sir" ;-)
I'm delighted with Chelsea's fixture list. 19 home matches and 19 away matches. Seems reasonable.
Jolly well sorry, jj, i didn't realise that B&H were one of those clubs who had sold their soul.
