Sorry, getting carried away. Where was I? Aah yes, The Alpine Skiing discipline.

GB don't have a huge heritage of competing in the Alpine Skiing events. But this year, as well as Chemmy Alcott, we have Slalom skier Dave Ryding.

Did we ??? Have you been to glenshee ? I used to take the ski bus up there of a weekend kip in the youth hostel..when I was young and....more.....foolish ! Some good snow there and better than Aviemore ...imho

It's kind of a long way.

I think Aberdeen is the same distance from here as Geneva.

Actually, that's not quite true. If you go by road, Geneva is a bit further than Aberdeen. But, according to Google Maps, the journey time by road is about the same.
