Indeed it is, as TonyAV pointed out on the fixture thread We have to play them sometime and why not throw Moyes in at the deep end as it were, he does have the League Champions at his disposal.
I agree - not easy but he has the team to do it
Lets hope he makes a few additions too
He may bring in a couple but think it'll more likely be the January transfer window that he'll start to make the team 'his own'.
Ric.ror, I'm sure you posted about this but can't remember. What do you think about Rooney? Held to his contract or let him go if he wants to.
The season is already looking good.

Mike Ashley sabotaging Alan Pardew's season.

Jose and Ian Holloway giving press conferences.

Joe Kinnear giving crazy rants at the press.

Harry finding an excuse to walk.
(OK, so not the Prem, I know. Will it happen?)

Peter Odemwingie.

Who needs to watch the games when there is so much other fun to enjoy?

LOl, Indeed!
We should be enjoying the wealth of other sports like: Cricket, Golf, Rugby and Tennis.. in my case pretending to be entertained. Sorry guys but at least in JJ's sport there's something to look at ;-)

Not sure about Rooney - seems to be conflicting reports - did he really ask for a transfer as Sir Alex says? He denies it
Is he seen as surplus to requirements and if so it must mean plans are being made to bring more players in
I would love Ronaldo to return but I doubt very much that is ever going to happen
If Rooney is sold I would prefer it to be PSG or another club in Europe
He would be a good buy for Arsenal but don't like to see ex players doing well against us
I didn't know that Rooney claims that he didn't ask for a transfer. (as you say conflicting reports) my feeling on want-away players remains the same, if said player wants to leave ... let him go.

As for ex players against us... well for all his trouble Tevez did well for us, if Rooney is to be sold then agree much prefer it to be to a European team.

To Aresenal though... stranger things have happened, who'd have thought we'd bag RVP.
I am just delighted that Stoke's opening game is away - as indeed are we on holiday. This prevents the present Mrs Hughes, season ticket holder and rabid supporter or said club for forty-plus years, from spending at least one day, if not more, moaning about not being there!
Oh, and I forgot to mention Paulo Di Canio.

There's an entertaining car crash waiting to happen.
