The fa are going to charge the city player over incident in game against the mighty Spurs .It wont change the result but if he is guilty the as he did afffect the result of the game then should spurs get the points or at least a replay .I watched Spurs getting beat many many times but sundays was different.

2 o's in too Zhukov lol
you just beat me to it, my apologies
4 match ban will do.

As for Spurs winning the league this season.... it would be nice just to stop them buying it but a top 4 finish will do and Man U to win the league!
Gromit RE you post 01:53 Tue 24th Jan 2012.

What would happen if a certain player was transferred before his ban for the next game? against the club he got his suspension against. The team that had bought the player would suffer if he's suspended whilst the club he used to play for go unpunished for not disciplining their own players.

Surely if you pull on a shirt, you are representing the club you are playing for.
Id rather have Man City"s next 6-7 games,than United"s!
ELVIS Stretford rangers have been buying the league for years
Arksided

The team that bought the player would know beforehand that he wasn't available for that fixture. Like being cup tied, but being disciplinary tied.

It may be trial by television, but 45,000 will have seen it in the ground and 6,000,000 watch the English Premier League world wide on television. And that brings the product into disrepute. Viewers will stop watching if the cheats win, and Arab Princes might not bother anymore.
They're are no easy games.. United have the tricky stuff of dealing with stoke, before we play the former winners of the premiership on Sunday, yep they bought one too.

How do you polish a Fez???
We"ll kick their ass when they come to Villa Park in Feb. ;0)
Also Lescott should've copped a ban too.

Poor ol Harrys ticker must've been going like the clappers during the second half watching that unfold knowing he's up in court the next day for (alledgedly) opening dodgy bank accounts in his dogs name lol
Balotelli"s Penalty kick was Class...man,you need a boy with his confidence..he dont miss..so easy!
I thought stopping on the run up on a spot kick was banned?

Bloody cheats..... We WAS robbed!
stopping on the run-up?....utter tripe...sour grapes...bah humbug!
Balotelli converted the penalty in one fluid movement. He gave Joe Hart,"the eyes",and therefore,no chance..sending him the wrong way..Boom!..That is Class!
ELVIS, I think that rule only applies to Internationals, I'm not sure if it still does, a bit like the Golden/Silver goal rule. changes all the time with FIFA. However the English FA have their own rules don't they!
Gave joe hart the eyes?????
Varying your speed in the run up to take a penalty is not against any laws. The goalkeeper is not supposed to move until the ball is struck, so what the kicker does before the ball is kicked is irrelevant.

It was a cool and good penalty kick from Balotelli. The fact he should not have been on the pitch to win the penalty and convert it is where the injustice lies. Webb is a broccoli referee.
well spotted Elvis.lol
haha...made a pigs ear...the Spurs keeper even guessed right..cracking penalty Gromit! ;0)
