What a palaver. Tried to place the usual £1 e.w. acca on my ITV7 selections but the accumulative odds were way over the limit. So i've had to mess about with the bet before it was accepted.

What i've finished up doing, purely for the e.w. acca, is to substitute Sing Us A Song for my '7' selection Lightening Mann, and take out the last selection Holguin. Then i've doe an e.w. double LM and H.

Just finished my choices Ken. Off out to finish the plant watering before I lay the bets. That issue you had yesterday has always been the case with Skybet. Tey always had a limit of £500k payout on any bet, although they are now seemingly policing it a bit more openly as you place a bet. When I do the 7 horse Acca, with sometimes 6,5,& 4 timers I place the minimum stakes(when the odds are high) and work out the bet to be a max of £5 with the payout as near to the limot as possible. E.G I see today that my accumalitive odds for the 7 is 2,156,016/1 ! I know that I can only do a max of 30p e/w on the 7 if I want to cover the other accas for a fiver.

Have had to alter one of my bets; Puppet Master now a n/r, so have substituted Realign in the 6.10.

When i used to place my bets in the bookies, Togo, they would allow you to place any bet irrespective of whether or not it went above their limit.

Obviously i knew that i would only receive whatever that limit was if my bet was a winner. But i have nearly always done the e.w. component of the bet and Sky have told me in the past that i only need to put 'x' amount on to reach the limit. Then they have allowed me to place the usual £1 e.w. acca.

Not anymore, it seems 🙁

EXactly Ken. They would let you lay the bet even though a portion of the stake didn't count and was in efect money thrown away. Whether they have been told to stop it or someome complaind I don't know. It was sometimes easier to chuck away a few pence that faff about changing the stakes   ...   particularly now when you want to change the blerdy stake from say £0.10 to £0.09 the whole entry has to redone rather than backspace and change .10 to .09. Haha. Bad enough trying to find a winner without having to juggle while you do it.
