I was working half day today and had to pop to the supermarket for some last minute things. Big mistake. Hardly anywhere to park and aisles full of people and trolleys.

Should've gone at 8am and got it done before I started work. Couldn't go last week as I was up to my neck in work and couldn't go at the weekend either...also busy and my new sofa finally arrived and I'm sitting on it now!

I got most things I needed apart from mince pies and Christmas crackers :o(

Be dead quiet tomorrow, I think.
Same thing happened to me and Mrs. bb today. Tesco car park chaotic, store was the same, I had to go round the car park twice to find a parking spot. Mrs. bb fuming when she came out. Thank goodness we've got it done!
Often Christmas Eve is quiet in contrast, but it can be a bit chancy if things have run out
I did mine yesterday and forgot the mince pies. I'm going to pop out at about 8 o clock tonight to get some. If it was just those, I wouldn't bother but I feel I might need some tablets so I'll get them at the same time and have a browse of the jumpers, which looked quite nice when I had a quick glance. Fingers crossed it won't be too busy.
yes, because of the last-minute announcement that Christmas was definitely on, all those people (including me) who'd been waiting before buying food have been rushing out. Tesco and Waitrose were very crowded yesterday.

Enjoy the sofa!
rocky, we used to get threepences in our Xmas pudding - maybe you could hide some tablets in yours?
You poor thing. We used to get sixpences and we weren't exactly high rollers.
Went to our local butchers , the queue was way along and round the corner and it was pouring down :0(

I'm working half day tomorrow as well so I might take a quick trip to tesco between 7 and 8. They might've stocked up on mince pies. Not too bothered if they don't have crackers.

Roads should be quiet as well at that time of the morning.
Shouldn't be out in the rain, pet.

You could have joined Nailit at Stonehenge.
Errr No, I think not, I’d rather go to the pub :0))
You have your SOFA . Great news .
Daughter and partner just headed out on his bike to Waitrose. Their 3rd trip of the day out hunting. I wished them luck. ;)

Yep, and they're refunding me £100 for all the delays :o)

Good luck to them, Pasta. Hope they find what they're hunting for.
