Would love to be up in York today. Some decent handicaps to employ the old slide-rule on :-) With the abandonment of N/Abbot, the ITV 7 is actually an ITV 6, today - 4 from York and 2 from Worcester.

:-)))
Horse loves York
If you spent as much time as I did looking at the form and pros & cons then we decerved that winner. I have probably spent 45mins looking at Chester and Haydock and Catterick races, that had half a dozen other runners from the race in them. The clincher for me was the low weight. That horse has been rated 100 and carried 9st to victory in the soft. Now for a couple more perhaps. If anyone is looking in Ken, and twigged that we both fancied it, they may have had a little flutter.

Or they may well have steered well clear of it :-)) I actually studied it's form prior to winning the 2019 edition of the race and, to be totally honest, it wasn't a million miles different. Except to say that it was 15lb lighter today - which, together with it's Knavesmire form, more or less sealed it for me. Had it been a weekend, i'd have had a fiver on it instead of the £2 but i haven't done too badly away from York (Salisbury) with a couple of win singles on Lord Protector 3/1 and Amy Beach 5/2. Couple of losers at Perth, though.
Well, Togo, i've only gone and done it. after saying recently that i'm not a fan of ante-post, i've just had little e.w. tickle on Hurricane Lane for the Derby. It's actually very rare i bother to have a bet on the big race, come the day, but at least i now have an interest in it.
What were the odds for The Derby Ken? Like you I don't often do ante post but a double with Ilaraab in whatever it has entries in may be interesting. Bleedin marked Hurricane last night and went off it this morning. Winter Power has put me back on track though.

Cannot for the life in me understand why Gosden's Moselle Valley has drifted from 12s to 33/1 in the 3.55 Sal. I'll probably wish i hadn't, but i've dropped a £1 e.w. single on it..........................................
Small e/w on the big odds Nos 2, 3, & 6 in the 4.15.
Question Author
I heard Coral were offering 14s, Togo, with the rest only going 6s. However, by the time i'd sorted everything out, it was 10s. Haven't used Coral in ages so i had forgotten my password and had to wait for a code number:-(
Question Author
Really hope you get a 'Trixie' up in your initial bet, T ;-))
That is strange. Sp. Life tells me that Ilaraab is entered for the Hardwicke Stakes at Ascot on June 19th, but 365 are not offering any odds on it in their ante post list.

Try 'others on request' Togo
Email jobbie Ken. I am not that keen. :))
Had to get on early today gotta nip out for an hour or so. Should be back for about 2PM. Just hope that their are no late withdrawals. You chaps know the bother that can cause. :)) Gone for an ambitious e/w punt and a small odds Trixie all at York. Done the ITV7 using my York runners with Good Birthday, Major Jumbo, and Beheld.

Trixie.

Ken. If you look back in here. What is that thing with a padlock, on Skybet, that keeps asking you to click on for free bets?
Doubt bookies give anything away for free. Do you bother with it?
I do Spike. If you click on the padlock it then adds up all the bets you place. When you have laid £25 worth of bets they give you a free £5.00 bet. I think legislation requires them to ask you if you want to participate, or they are afraid of being accused of inducing you to gamble. Bless. If yo bet with Skybet why would you not allow them to give you a free bet every now and again?
Ah, cheers, togo. Didn't know you bet with them as well. So, my suspicious nature has cost me a few free bets then, lol.
Oh, and keep calling me spike, makes me sound well hard.
