The accumulative odds of my ITV 7 selections are such that i would 'break the bank' were they all to win, so i need only put a fraction of my stake on to hit the payout 'ceiling'. However, i have stuck to my usual bet for the simple reason i am actually backing them to place. Only a complete fool would believe he can pick the winners of 7 stated races. I may be a fool, but i'm not quite complete ;-))

ITV 7 selections; Patroclus*, Highland Dress*, Miss Heritage*, Tadleel*, Tweed Skirt, Repartee & Admiral Barraty. £1 e.w. acca.

Done the 4* in my usual win/e.w. singles, 20p Lucky 15, £1 e.w. acca @; 6/1, 9/2, 16/1 & 9/2. 4 placed (with Sky for extra places) = possible return of £ 26, 4 winners = possible return of £3,680.

Be lucky :-)
Afternoon Ken. Just getting sorted.

Afternoon, Togo. Plenty of runners, today. And what do you make of the 'tie-breaker' they've introduced to the ITV 7? Just before Cheltenham, too :-/
I see the ITV 7 now has a tie-breaker, so there will now only be one winner - unless, that is, someone picks the exact same winning distance in the race in question!

Didn't they have 250 winners sharing the jackpot once last year?
Sorted. Cheltenham next week. It only seems five minutes since last year. Remember the brooha about letting spectators in as the ramifications of what was to come began to dawn on us. Been a busy patch here this week as we have had a patio area replaced ready for summer. Can get my seeds going now. That is for later though for now this is the script. Done the ITV7, but what the dickens is the guesswork tie break question all about? Most people who share the win are happy to do so I would think. Done a £1.0E?W Acca and 20pE/W Doubles and Trebles**** and a £1 Trixie ⁕⁕⁕. There is also a mugs double staring me in the face with Dorking Lad 1.50S, and Dorking Boy 3.42A. Good Luck if you have a punt.

The Mick Preston* @15/2 1.50San.
Documenting⁕ @15/4 2.05W.
Langer Dan⁕ @9/2 2.25S.
Man of the Night⁕ @ 9/2 2.40W.
Ballybough Mary* @12/1 3.00S.
Brian The Snail* @3.15W.
Lust For Glory* @33/1 3.35S.
Don't like it Ken. I was trying to wonder why. It can't be to stop the syndicates surely as you cannot have multi accounts. I don't think so anyway. Most punters will just go for the mean average winning distance for the 2 codes or at least a distance very close to it. I know I will.
Question Author
Wonder how many of those 250 would have chosen the same winning distance had the 'tie-breaker' been in operation, then? :-/ I just hope that if my first 6 oblige, Admiral Barraty only wins by half a length :-)))

Memory wrong again, over 840 people shared the jackpot.
I think that was an evening meeting on the dirt Doc. There were only half a dozen runners or less in each race and most of the winners were odds on or nigh on evens. Surely they wouldn't change the whole competition for one daft skewed(that word is in fashion this week) outcome.
Question Author
And there are only 39 winning distances to choose from in the 'tie-breaker' so let's hope there aren't 840 joint winners today :-)))))))))
Wonder if they will give an explanation as to why before the races today.

Yeah, Elli, but what's your 'nap'?
I think Eli is not long for this world.
Question Author
Unlucky, Togo, right stable - wrong horse. We need not worry about winning distances now :-/
Wouldn't mind so much Ken, but I have had the first three home in a punt, this season, before today.
Question Author
Doe my last 3 selections in a R Robin and e.w. treble.
Hopeless this end Ken. 1 winner with the reliable Skelton team, and a good place from Henderson at odds you rarely see with one of his. Class 1 looks beyond her scope mind.
Question Author
Just the e.w. on Miss Heritage, for me, Togo. As per usual, i went by the stats for each race and the only 2 horses that ticked all the boxes in that race were your selection and mine. Of course i chose the wrong one and of course i didn't do the forecast :-(
Gonna knock 'em bow-legged next week, mark my words :-))))))))
