Afternoon, Togo. Not a brilliant day's racing by any stretch, but there's still money to be won or (whisper it quietly) lost :-) Hopefully these 4 will produce the former rather than the latter;

1.10 Ling; Kodiac Harbour @ 3/1
2.40 Ayr; Baby Ticker @ 8/1
3.00 San; Potter's Legend @ 6/1
3.35 San; Guard Your Dreams @ 4/1

Win singles, 20p L15, £1 e.w. acca (e.w. acca with Sky). 4 placed = poss return of £15, 4 winners = poss return of £1,611.

ITV 7; Ibleo, Jonniesofa, Metier, Baby Ticker, Potter's Legend, Strong Economy & Guard Your Dreams. £1 e.w. acca.

Be lucky :-)

Like you Ken I was getting my bets on when Ayr was abandoned with the first race just about ready to go. Damned nuisance. I was trying to place the punt and getting "accept changes" message. Had to start again. Done two punts in the end, one at Sandown and t'other on the A/W. Good luck in 2021 to you all.
Sandown.
Hollywoodian @ 8/1 1.50
Galice Macalo @3/1 2.25
Potters Legend @6/1 3.00
Friend or Foe @13/2 3.35 E/W Acca E/W Trebles, Doubles.
Lingfield.
Fly The Nest @9/2 1.10
Three C's @7/1 1.45
Shamshon @8/1 3.30
Red Allure @9/1 4.40Wolves.
E/W Acca E/W Trebles, Doubles.
Rollocks! Didn't know Ayr was off, Togo:-((( Just had to revisit 365 and 'edit' my bet, taking out the n/r and adding Commentariolus in the 2.13 at Cork @ 4/1. Winnings, if any, will, of course, be affected. Don't think Sky do the 'Edit bet' so i'll have to leave the e.w. as it is.
And, to make matters worse, just found out that The Claret's game v Fulham tomorrow is off 'cos of the London club's Covid outbreak.
Cashed out the e.w. for £2 at Sky, then put the Cork horse in with the 3 others and re-staked the bet. :-)
Then watched Kodiac Harbour run like a Blackpool donkey :-(

I know Ken. I had just entered up the ITV7 and was sorting out a Trixie on the Ayr races when I got firstly a r4 accept changes prompt, then a changed price accept changes prompt, then the bet went void and I went What The Funicular. I was doing the Sandown punt anyway but it has beggared up the skybet 7,6,&5 timers. Ahh well said the soul.

My best horses were the ones that didn't run Ken. Bleedin opeless. Cmon Stoke. How do you fancy our big daft centre back, Harry Souttar?
Only 6ft6 in but still growing.
I've heard he's gonna be a decent player when he grows up :-))
Question Author
Haha. He is an Aussie and his mam says that the cold weather in the UK has stunted his growth.
I'm just wondering which new faces (if any) will be lured inside the hallowed gates of Turf Moor, now that we are owned by someone with some real loose change in their pocket? :-) If i were not an atheist, i'd be praying to God to ensure it doesn't end up like the Venky's takeover down the road from us. #Worstcasescenario :-(

Must confess Ken. I am glad that we are owned by a family from S.o.T, and every time I have a losing bet I console myself with the thought that I am providing funds for The Potters. When I was at my sister's funeral just before Christmas my brothers and I promised each other that we would once again go to a game together as soon as this was over. All 6 of us.
We've always been owned by local people, Togo, up until now, that is. I have, however, read that the new chairman and his backroom staff are to live in the community just as soon as.
