What have you done today to make you feel 'happy'?
I've done a load of Christmas shopping online , when I say a load I mean just for family, my 16yr old grandson is into designer stuff so I got him 3 pairs of T Hilfiger undies, daughter likes the White Company so I got her a candle and diffuser from there, and quite a bit more , like having it all done by mid November,I don't see a sub category for saying this....sorry :0))))

nothing to report yet . . .
Nice one Bobbi!

I haven't even thought about Xmas shopping. Will probably do what I usually do and order a few hampers.

I finished work early to so just lazing about and waiting for my solicitor to return my call about the sale of my house.

Had a lady knocking on my door quite late last night, saying she had no money for her meter and her children were going hungry. She told me her house number so I'm going to pop round after I get my Tesco delivery and give her some bits.

The day is still young ael, maybe your Doris will have a nice surprise in store ;0)

That's very kind of you but I'd urge you to err on the side of caution Tiggs, is this at your new address?
that sounds ominous Bobbi :-)
Question Author
Might be a 'nice one' ael haha
Tiggs for goodness sake don't go round that random woman's house. If necessary ring social services and give them her details.
No Bobbi, this is at my current address. I spoke to her through the closed door so she didn't see my face.
Question Author
I agree with that APG
Question Author
Do you know her Tiggs?

Well I woke up. That's a start. A man of simple pleasures. :-)
Ok, thanks both for the advice. I won't go round. Might speak to my neighbour about it and see if she was knocking on her door as well.
I couldn't see her face through the peephole.

If your elbows aren't touching wood Retro....then it's a good day:0)

Yes Tiggs, this lady should be getting in touch with social services and not knocking on doors at night
Be careful Tigger. Could be a new form of begging. People would feel sorry for her late at night and give regardless. Possible it is just a scam. Could come round to thank you and be checking out what else she wants to take.
Suspicious I know but unfortunately this does not really ring true.
My heart did go when the knocking started around 11pm.
Thanks all, glad I mentioned it on here now before paying her a visit.......phew!

11pm?????
Definitely give this a wide berth Tiggs , LJ is right , could be a new form of begging
//What have you done today to make you feel 'happy'?//

Nothing yet - I'll check if er indoors has recovered from her headache yet
Agree. You do not knock on anyone's door at that time of night unless it is a real emergency.
