Some cracking races on today particularly on the Knavesmire. Some nice looking handicap races, likewise at Newbury. I see that our friend Koukash has a couple of runners tonight in Ken's backyard...may look later depending on how I go with these. Done the ITV7 as well.

Afaak @22/1 2.30 York**
Tomorrow's Dream @5/2 2.50 Newmarket**
El Astronaute @7/1 3.05 York** !!
La Lune @4/1 3.25 Newbury!!
Make My Day @ 9/1 3.40 York!!
Judicial @8/1 4.00 Newbury!!

** E/W Single on Afaak and e/w Trixie.
!! £1.00 E/W Acca + E/W Doubles and Trebles. You will see that I have put El Astronaute in both bets and with those 6 I have put Method in the 2.15 Newbury to make the ITV7 picks. Also like the look of the last race at York and am looking at two of my old favourites to go well at good prices....Triggered and Broken Spear. That is again for later perhaps. Bleedin raining again here after a lovely day yesterday. Good luck if you have a flutter.

Gulliver is in the sprint handicap in Ireland later.

Good horse you know Spice.....and it is brighter than the donkey that posts on this site. O'Meara, the trainer, has won that race before so knows the script.
That last race at York is why i'm late on today. I've tried every angle into the race and I just cannot make a selection. My brain has turned to mush and is oozing out of my ears:-( So I've given up and chosen another at Newbury - much prefer handicaps to stakes races. Having seen that the 2.30 is often won by something in double figures, I have had a bit of e.w. on Dark Jedi. However, for the purposes of the ITV7 and my L15;

2.30 York; Harrovian @ 9/1 (Franky here for just this ride!)
3.25 New; La Lune @ 9/2
3.40 York; Mayfair Spirit @ 10/1 (Scared of Arctic Fox so Rev f/c)
4.00 New; Repartee @ 7/1

Win singles, 20p L15, £1 e.w. acca. 4 placed = £50, 4 winners = £6,151

ITV7; Method, Harrovian, Tomorrow's Dream*, Que Amoro*, La Lune, Mayfair Spirit & Repartee. £1 e.w. acca.

* both in treble/Trixie along with Universal Order.

I see one of my fav pilots has retired - Barry Geraghty. Wasn't over keen on him taking over from Fitzy at Henderson's yard initially, but the man won me over in fine style. Gave me one of my best Cheltenham's ever a few years back. Superb rider.

Best of luck, guys.
Just had a quick peek at that sprint race over the water. Laugh A Minute is in there with Gullver. I feel a mug's rev f/c coming on :-))
Will not get to bookies today due to lock down, only essential shopping allowed for me.
Dark Jedi got a place but that was the only ray of sunshine on a very cloudy day. Even the first football bet of the day is heading south :-(
Have done the forecast over in Ireland - both are very well fancied.
Me and lesser half have a £5 win treble on Middlesborough,Hull and Blackburn.A £5 we aint going to see again by the looks of things.
