Sorry, but by the time Togo or Ken wake up, the racing will be over.
It's 2,000 guineas day.
I'd like to see the hot favourite, Pinatubo, win.
Any fancies?

Not many Frankels come along in your lifetime Spice. We saw something special with him. I wonder if Kameko will go for the Derby? I seem to remember that it didn't have an entry but if it won today the owners may supplement him into the field. Cost £85k to do so. Ouch.

Haha Spice I was up at 6AM. But now don't post too early because of non runners throwing a spanner in the works. Hard to look past the hot fav. in the 2,000 Guineas and I have it in my ITV7 but I will be doing a little e/w on Kameko and probably put in in a f/cast with Pinatubo. Having said all that the weather looks dire and the going could be anything later if the rain is falling in Sussex like it did here earlier. Still....faint heart never won fair maiden so the bets are on. I have, as I said, done the ITV7 and covered the runners in little e/w 7 & 6 timers. Apart from that I have...
Stone Of Destiny @7/2 1.15 Newmarket
Shades Of Blue @5/1 2.05 Newmarket
Daarik @5/2 2.05 Newcastle
Queen Power @7/2 2.25 Newmarket

£1.00 win Acca. 40P Doubles and Trebles.

The ITV7 is the bottom 3 with ...Withhold 2.40Nc, Al Aasy 3.00Nm, Palace Pier 3.15 Nc, Pinatubo 3.35 Nm. Al Aasy is a horse that I put in "my stable" of ones to watch on the Sporting Life website and I will be doing a single bet @ 15/2 and I will be looking out later for Madrhino in the 4.55 at Lingfield which is another of my "ones to follow". That has been hammered down from 9/1 to 7/2 this morning so I may have missed the value, but will look for something to double it with. Good Luck if you have a flutter.
Been awake for simply ages, spice. But finding it terribly difficult today to whittle races down to a manageable number. Yes, even more so than is usual. Hoping one or two oblige to reward the time spent watching replays of finishes and what have you. Hard life being a gambler - Maverick made it look oh so easy :-)

ITV7; Queen's Gift, Daarik*, Magic Lilly*, Withhold*, Waldkonig, Palace Pier and Pinatubo. Each way acca.

* denotes £1 Trixie/£1 treble for a poss £93 return.

1.50 N'm; Queen's Gift @ 12/1
2.40 N'c; Rainbow Dreamer @ 8/1
4.10 N'm; Jalaad @ 11/2
5.05 N'c; Longroom @ 4/1

Win/e.w. singles, 20p Lucky 15, £1 e.w. acca. 4 placed = £35, 4 winners = £4,802.

1.30 N'c; £1 e.w. Global Warning @ 11/1 (4 places - Sky)

Like many, cannot see past the fav in the big 'un but (having backed it on it's 2 previous runs) couldn't resist a quid e.w. on Kenzai Warrior @ 40/1.

Best of luck to all punters - if mine don't win, hope yours do :-)
Didn't see any mention of Gabrial's Boy (6.15 Newc) in your post, Togo. Have you missed it? (One of Fahey's just won the 1.30 :-/)
I have seen it in the last at Newcastle Ken. Koukash's only runner today as well. I was letting the day run and thinking about Madrinho 4.55 Lingfield and Gabrial in a little double if they are not scratched.
Don't know anything about horses but I can give you a bit of inside information .. no rain falling near Fontwell or Goodwood at the moment .. just dry and cloudy, with the wind blowing at around 30mph and gusting !
Daarik won cosily in the end Ken... I though Ben Curtis had nicked it with that fast early run for a while. Good pilot that bloke. Alava, you may be in for a bit of rain later but you will not be having any racing at Goodwood or Fontwell. Save some of those carrots that you grow for Ken's, and my, string of donkeys please.
Sorry I have to call off the first weather report .. it's chucking it down now.
Funnily enough the carrots are going really well .. Just made a cottage pie for tonights dinner and added a few of the little fellas !
If our lot turn out to be donkeys, Togo, they don't deserve any carrots :-/ Maybe a ne life on Blackpool Beach:-)
Kameko spares my blushes. Easy win.
Take that and put a little patent bet on King's Pavilion 4.10 Nm, Madrinho 4.55 Ling, & Gabrials Boy 6.15 Nc.

Disappointed. I like to see super-horses running. I thought Pinatubo might be one. Seems not.

Ouch! to me and thee, togo. Peanuts to them. (***) ;-)
Given the fact that Balding and Murphy have been in red hot form this week, everybody and his uncle should have been on that one :-( Glad you got it, T.
My e.w. bet stumbled out of the stalls and almost ended up getting rid of the pilot. Doncha just hate it when...…………………..
Done another speculative L15/e.w. acca for later on; Becker, Colony Queen, Gabrials Boy and Rise Hall.
On the football front, if Dortmund can win with a -1 handicap, i'll have a nice little 5 game acca up for a £97 return.
Dortmund scraped to a 1-0 win :-((
Having a punt on these 4, today. Oasis Prince, Mr Shady, Odyssey Girl and Arctic Sound. All big prices. Just a fiver stake but plenty moolah if they oblige. Starting a 2 or 3 day (depends on how I feel) decorating job in half hour so best of luck if you're punting.

Alright, Ken. Good luck. Just had a small bet on Quadrilateral? in the guineas for something to watch.
Won't be betting until all this disruption has settled down.
Ta Spice.
Had a little punt across the cards and done the ITV7. Cannot resist Shimmering in the 1,000 Guineas. Gosden is no mug, and he and Dettori do not rock up in a classic with a no hoper. 18/1...when did you last get that price on one of their runners in a big race? Got to be worth an e/w punt with anybody's money. Racing on in your backyard Ken...soft going. Had a punt on one that likes the soft and is a big price seeing that half the card is scratched. King Ottokar.

Good Birthday @2/1 2.25 Newmarket
King Ottokar @11/1 2.40 Haydock(e/w single also)
Street Life @10/3 5.45 Lingfield
Bronze River @5/1 5.55 Newmarket.

£1.00 Acca. 30p Doubles and Trebles. Done theITV7 and covered the 7 & 6 timers e/w.

Faylaq 1.50 Nm, Manuela De Vega 2.05 Hay, Davydenko 2.25 Nm, King Ottokar 2.40 Hay, Trefoil 3.00 Nm, Happy Power 3.15 Hay, Shimmering 3.35 Nm. Good luck if you have a go.

The itv7 has Good Birthday not Davydenko in the 3rd race.
Just had a £1.50 e.w. punt on Sky Defender, which, although running 2nd, was well beaen. I somehow always manage to back the less tough of Johnston's string. :-(
Small £2.50 win on Lord North and I've just had a look at Gosden's runner in the big race, Togo. Apparently he could have sent it handicapping off a mark of 80 but maybe the enforced break has forced his hand, a tad. He must think this one is ready to do itself justice. As you say, they don't run 'em just for the sake of it. So I've dropped a £1.50 e.w. @ 16s on it.
Lord North duly obliges at boosted odds of just short of 4/1, and I got better than 16s for Shimmering - the odds were boosted to approx. 17.5/1.
