Strewth it is May already but the Year has come to a standstill. Looks as if things could get moving again in a couple of weeks or less so fingers crossed. With that in mind I have took our motors down to the garage and filled them up and checked the tyres ready to get back on the road again before 8AM this morning. When the lockdown is eased everybody is going to be filling their tanks and I can just see fuel shortages being the next cluster fluff. Have done today's ITV7 at Gulfstream and a little bet* on the first 4, and a small 7 timer and 6 timers. Good luck if you have a flutter.

Had another 3 from 4 last night, horse called Starship Taxi let me down by coming 4th (one place higher would have been worth another £32+). Still, managed to draw £51.23, even with a Rule 4. Last race was due off at 23.19 but had to wait until almost 23.40!! Very lax these American racing types :-(

Haha Ken I know what you say. Last night "she who must be obeyed" had me cutting her fringe. Can you do it she asked? Give over woman I said........remember how I used to cut the the dog's "fringe" when it was in her eyes. Plus today my barbers clippers arrived and I can now give myself a buzz cut.

As if to prove my point about how 'lax' they are over the pond, lady presenter (don't know her name) has just said, "It's 9 minutes to post time which, at Gulfstream, means we'll probably get under way in about 16, 17, 18 minutes :-//

Many of my friends chose to have haircuts almost on the wood, some time back. I have thought about it but i'm convinced i'd probably have an head the same shape as Crichton of Red Dwarf fame (like a 50p piece, but not as symmetrical) :-)))

I gave up using the in play, watch live, doohdah ages ago because I never knew when it was going to start. It's a disaster over here if they don't get em off on time.

And I've just remembered the last time I tried cutting my own fringe. First attempt - bit wonky, attempted to straighten it up a little, wonky on the other side. So tried again and ended up looking like Slade's Dave Hill. Think I self isolated for a month :-)

I've got a 'magic box', Togo, and am tuned into TVG which covers all the American racing. Cost me £45 for 12 months and got it mainly for the live Burnley matches. When our racing starts, I also have access to Willy Hill, Betfred, Coral and PaddyPower tv.

I made a good job of it for Her Ken. Just like our lovely dear departed dog Cassie. The hardest part was dissuading her from peeing on the patio afterwards. :))

Ahh well....little doubles gives me a return from 3 out of 7. This is only practice for losing properly you know. Sadly not as enjoyable. :))
