Not a bad morning, a bit cooler but not too bad for that. Racing is now in the pre Cheltenham lull as everyone gears up for the big week, and Doncaster is a nono with small fields and the only race worth looking at having 3 scratched. So have a try at Newbury. You will note that I have ignored my old favourite Houblon Des Obeaux and gone for the horse that he beat a couple of weeks back. I may regret that but retain the option to do a little cover if my heart wins out later. Could do with a bit of Ken's luck, he has had a couple of nice weekends and I am finding nothing. Good luck to all who have a dabble.

Ritual of Senses @7/1 1.30 Newbury
Theatre Guide @9/1 2.05 Newbury
Happy Diva @5/1 2.40 Newbury
Crooks Peak @3/1 3.10 Newbury

Afternoon and good luck, Togo. Share your view regarding today's menu so i'm sticking with Newbury where i do have some large(ish) fields to play with. Couldn't resist a £1 e.w. on Hallings Comet @ 33/1 in the first - have won a few quid on this one in the past. Sticking with the stats for my Lucky 15, though, and hoping they are maintained.

2.05; Shanroe Santos @ 9/1
2.40; Happy Diva @ 5/1
3.10; War Brigade @ 12/1
3.40; Shanty Alley @ 20/1 (18s for the extra place in the e.w. acca)

win/e.w. singles, 20p Lucky 15, £1 e.w. acca. 4 placed = approx £160, 4 winners = £19,724 - which would be quite nice and just in time for Cheltenham :-)
