Gloomy and damp up here this morning. Stay home and watch the sport. A nice race meeting just down the road from you Ken. Go for a bit of each way thievery today, with an option for a cover bet if the first runners bomb.

Morning, Togo, and good luck. Going for gold, today. Not intentionally, of course, it's just the way things have panned out.

12.55 Asc; Bob Mahler @ 14/1
1.30 Asc; Miss Mash @ 9/1
1.50 Hay; Chti Balko @ 12/1
3.15 Asc; One For Billy @ 16/1 (14s for extra place)

win/e.w. singles, 20p lucky 15 £1 e.w. acca. 4 placed = £263, 4 winners = £38,383 :-))))))

Thing is Ken, despite the long odds all your picks are from stables that are liable to get horses ready for the good handicaps. I had a long look at the 3.15 Ascot but could not make my mind up between Modus and Duke of Navan so may do a little rev/fcast later. I have followed both horses over the years, plus I am always wary when the likes of Nicholls sends 3 runners out.
3 run, 3 losers though i thought Chti Balco was going to pull a little more out. I do have a more likely lucky 15 going and Contrive has started that one off by winning. T'others are Captain Lars, Ban Shoof and Ross Raith Rover - all at Ling.
