Ayr off, Togo, but still some fair sized fields elsewhere in which to lose our hard-earned. Picked 'em with a pin today, just hope it's my lucky pin - these pins all look alike:-/

2.15 N'b; Desert Encounter @ 4/1
2.35 N'm; Cribbs Causeway @ 7/2
2.50; N'b; James Garfield @ 4/1

50p patent, 75p e.w. acca. 3 placed pays just £4 but 3 winners = £187

3.10 N'm; Taws @ 14/1
3.25 N'b; Silver Ghost @ 10/1 (rev f/c Anythingtoday)
4.00 N'b; Take Cover @ 7/1
5.05 N'b; Pursuing Steed @ 12/1

Win and e.w. singles, 20p lucky 15, 50p e.w. acca. 4 placed returns £86, 4 winners = £13,504

Concentrating more on the footy, today. Gonna knock them bookies bowlegged:-)

Good luck.

Hi Ken. Good luck to you too. Will have a think about a footie punt after the early match is over. I actually prefer a R.U. flutter, particularly the Internationals.
With 2 winners and a second, the first bet produces a nice return of £92.42 for my initial £20 stake. Pity Cribbs Causeway couldn't maintain the challenge to the line.

Change of fortune here too Ken. First one ran 3rd, second one a non runner, then two nice winners. Paid out £65.40 for a fiver. Will take it but it could have been so much more. Still it gives me wriggle room with my flutters if I want it.
Also got £45 from the 2nd bet for a £25 initial outlay. Like you, ?Togo, could have been much better. On the other hand it's a big improvement on recent weeks.
Just put a little of it back on Heerenveen to win 2-1 @ 8/1:-)

Haha Ken did similar. I had looked at the Queen's horse Daphne earlier when going through the cards. I left it out because it looked a bit short priced. After my little bit back I had an odd £3.59 in my account and noted that it had taken a walk in the market so I lobbed the £3.59 on at 8/1. It won and I added another £32.31 to my tally. I now have an odd £2.31 in my account but I can leave that for another day. Took the sting out of a bad result for my team. £90.00ish up on the day.
Well done, Togo. Heerenveen duly obliged 2-1, giving me another £90 to send soaring through cyber-space to the eager arms of my bank account:-)
Of course we both realise that the evil bookies have only lent us this money and are probably planning how to get it back even as we celebrate the wins:-//
