so what!
It's all about Fair weather supporters i.e Those that support success and when things go pear shape fade into the woodwork. Applicable to all Clubs no matter who they are.
e.g My Club is in the Champions League and yours are not.
Oh Yeah ! how many times has your Club won this tournament in the past ?
Answer = never, and if they don't win it I will support a Club that will ! duh duh
Bolton are there on merit, and good luck to them.
They should play their semi-final at Villa Park or Old Trafford
You leave the Trotters alone!!
exactly so what - there are only 25581 people living in Bolton......
call that living?
139,403 actually at last census.
the rest (113552 people) are immigrants!
We live very well here actually.
or the rest live in the suburb of Notlob.
I think the point Eljohnno is trying to make is - do the supporters deserve a day at Wembley when they can't be bothered to turn up at Premier games and earlier cup rounds ?
If the rules of entry stated that then the answer would be different. My father and grandfather attended every home match and every Wembley appearance also.
well they couldn't have gone to London that often, mamyalynne
True is that, they have only won it 4 times and been runners up3 times , never mind maybe they will change the rules so winning games is not the way to Wembley in future.
eljohnno, i can understand where you're coming from but both teams will sell their allocation out, you could argue when stevenage got to the 1/4's a few years ago to play middlesbrough that they shouldn't really get a big allocation of tickets beens has they only get 1500 or something in the ground (in that season), its a day out for all fans of bolton wanderers and bolton and stoke has earned the right to play there so let them take as many as possible to make a good atmosphere and its good again this year to know a non-fancied team is going to be in the final.

Its not Bolton's fault is it? If anyone is disgraceful its the FA using Wembley for FA cuo semi's to make a fast buck and also making 4 Northern(ish, stoke) teams travel south at great expense to the fans. You can say that Utd - City warrents it but its still not fair on the supporters.

I don't understand this resistance people have for playing games at Wembley. There are plenty of fans who would never have the chance to see their team at Wembley if this wasn't done.

So what if the FA do it for money. If it was at Old Trafford, it would just give that same money to Manure
