Rooney escapes punishment by the FA

Unbelievable - I'm not having a rant because it's Rooney - but how can any player escape punishment for deliberately elbowing a fellow player ?
Mike Riley says Mark Clattenburg saw the incident and took the right course of action !
In which case Riley and Clattenburg should both resign.

Couldn't agree more, johnno. I only saw the incident today and it's shocking that Rooney got away with a talking to. It's a despicable act by the player and decision by the FA.

I think the incident you are talking about refer is the one where the player grabbed the other players arm and hit himself with it.
